I did the same thing last year - deleting old posts, that is. And these were from when I was between the ages of 21 and 24. Geez, what a fucktard I was then. I'm of the belief that you will always find your antics of 2-5 years ago to be ridiculously stupid.

I have been in college for 2 years but I officially started last year. The first two terms were ok but the spring term was rough.

Life-updates:

I have a boyfriend.
I'm in Ukraine studying Ukrainian with my dad.
My official religious title is agnostic.

At the time I talked to you, your views really upset me but I have grown-up and realized that "let sleeping dogs lie" is a very very good proverb. So I'll try not blow up on your journal again. However, the big thing that got me was how you discounted my choice in my spiritual path and assumed that I was being influenced. I'm going to go now thank you.

That depends on the college and on who you hang out with. You'll probably have an easier time finding people to hang out with than I do because I'm not really part of any groups.

Scholastically? It can be rough. Probably one of the biggest pieces of advice I could give you is don't let college kill what you love. You'll probably discover quickly that it will make you start to hate your passion. So try not to let it. Someone told me to "take your time" which is what I'm going to try because trying to get all of my freshman credits in the time I had allotted didn't work at all. I'm probably going to transfer soon too. Also, if you don't like it, you don't like it. Don't force yourself to do something you don't like to do because it makes other people happy.

Ah. I'm going to an arts school for vocal performance. gonna do a lot of opera apparently. I hope I don't get tired of it, because even though I'm smart, I have essentially very little to fall back on and wouldn't want to start out from scratch. I have to take my academics at a nearby former community college, which is ok. my friend goes to the school I'm starting, and she basically said it works out.
